Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These terms apply to appointments and services booked with Bella Forte Lounge, whether booked online, by phone, or in the salon. By making a booking you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us
Bella Forte Lounge ("we", "us", "our") is a hair salon at 99 Hendre Road, Pencoed, CF35 6TD. You can contact us on 07939 821004 or at hello@bella-forte-lounge.co.uk.
2. Booking appointments
- Appointments are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive a confirmation by email or text.
- Please provide accurate contact details so we can send confirmations and reminders and reach you if anything changes.
- To confirm certain bookings we securely hold a payment card on file (see section 4). You are not charged at the time of booking.
- If you book on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for ensuring they are aware of and agree to these terms.
3. Prices & payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling. Colour and some other services vary by hair length, thickness and condition, so the price shown at booking is a guide and is confirmed at your consultation before work begins.
- Payment is due in full at the end of your appointment unless agreed otherwise.
- Card payments are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
4. Card on file, deposits & no-show / late-cancellation fees
- To reserve your time we may securely save a card to your booking. No payment is taken when you book.
- Please give us at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
- For cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment, or for no-shows, a fee of 50% of the booked service may be charged to the card on file. This reflects the cost of the time reserved for you that we are unable to fill at short notice.
- You can reschedule or cancel online (up to 48 hours before) using the link in your confirmation, or by calling us.
- Any deposit taken is deducted from your final bill. Where a deposit is forfeited due to a late cancellation or no-show, this reflects our reasonable costs.
5. Late arrivals
If you arrive late we will always try to carry out your full service, but we may need to shorten or rearrange it so we don't overrun for other clients. Significant lateness may be treated as a late cancellation.
6. Skin / patch tests & colour services
- For colour and certain chemical services, a skin (patch) test is required at least 48 hours before your first appointment and again if your circumstances change. We cannot carry out the service without one.
- You must tell us about any previous reaction to hair colour or patch tests, and complete our consultation questionnaire honestly.
- We may decline or adjust a service where we believe it is not safe or suitable, including for clients under 16 for certain colour services.
7. Your health & information
Please let us know about any allergies, sensitivities, skin or scalp conditions, medication, pregnancy or other relevant health matters. This information is used only to provide your service safely and is kept in line with our Privacy Policy. We are not liable for reactions or outcomes arising from information not disclosed to us.
8. Results, satisfaction & complaints
We take pride in our work and want you to love your hair. Results can vary depending on the condition and history of your hair, and some looks need more than one visit. If you are not happy with your service, please tell us within 7 days so we can put it right — we will always look to correct any issue with our work. Refunds are handled in line with your statutory rights.
9. Children & the salon
For everyone's safety, children must be supervised at all times while in the salon. We are unable to be responsible for unaccompanied children.
10. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Otherwise, our liability for any service is limited to the cost of that service. We are not responsible for personal belongings brought into the salon.
11. Privacy & data
We collect and use your personal data to manage your appointments and provide our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. Marketing messages are only sent with your consent (or to existing clients under the PECR soft opt-in), and you can opt out at any time.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your booking.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
